One month later, she awakens. Not sure why. No awning lights, but the glow of a lovely blue floodlight illuminates the façade near the main entrance. A few weeks after this photo was taken, the office door was lit again, and the floodlight on the northern side of the main entrance was reenergized into a flickering light show. I even observed a woman pull on the door handle tonight, thinking that the motel was still in business. Alternating hues of white, red, blue, green, purple and yellow flash on the façade and sidewalk below. I’m so happy to see that someone decided to turn her lights back on, despite the fact that she’s living on borrowed time. I’d like to think it was all for me.
